Eine feine Sache für junge Bands und Fans, die an sie glauben ist SellaBand. Als Musiker kann man sich nämlich auf dieser Seite kostenlos ein Profil anlegen, Bilder und (das Wichtigste) bis zu drei eigene Musiktitel hochladen. Und hier kommt die “andere Seite” ins Spiel. Als sogenannter “Believer” kann man Anteile der Band oder des Künstlers erwerben. Insgesamt gibt es 5.000 Anteile für jeweils $10. Erreicht eine Band die $50.000, so wird mit dieser eine CD professionell produziert. Jeder Believer erhält gemäß seiner Anteile eine CD. Die Songs der CD werden auf der Website als Download angeboten, zum Teil kostenlos zum anderen für $0,50. Die Einnahmen teilen sich Band, Believer und SellaBand, bisher wurden bei sieben Bands alle Anteile verkauft.
